Below are photos of the women authors I interviewed when I was writing Women, Voice, and Writing. Transcripts of their interviews compose the second half of the book. Relevant quotes from their writing careers are included throughout the first half of the book, when we define voice and discuss ways to develop and strengthen writing voice. Interesting to note that eight of these authors earned Ph.D.s.
